medical law in spain, urgent Options

Hi there,

I am living in the uk and have encountered a serious problem. My Grandmother lives in Valencia and is very ill, no easy way to say it but she is dying and it seems that she has not got long left. So far she has point blank refused to see a doctor and my grandfather who is 81 has respected her wishes. Now she is unconcious most of the time but is still refusing a doctor.

We are all very upset but also worried that mt grandfather could be in trouble when the inevitable happens. I am a trainee solicitor in the UK but cannot find out what the legal status is in spain. We don't know what to do.

Please if you can offer advice please do so asap.
